Health Insurance 101 – Understanding the Affordable Care Act

Elgin, IL – Greater Family Health invites area residents to learn more about the new health insurance options available through the Affordable Care Act, and enroll into a health insurance plan.

Community members are welcome to speak with a Certified Navigator and apply for coverage. No appointment is necessary.

Greater Family Health is dedicated to spreading the word about the range of health insurance options and community resources that are available to area residents through the Affordable Care Act.

Specially trained counselors, called Navigators, will be on-site to assist and answer questions. Residents can also connect with a Navigator by calling 844-599-3700.
Under the Affordable Care Act, area residents who were previously unable to get insurance can now get insurance coverage.
