AMITA and Greater Family Health enjoy a rich and substantial collaboration. Greater Family Health leases space from AMITA for our location in Hanover Park. In addition, our Obstetricians perform newborn deliveries and surgeries at both Ascension St. Alexius Medical Center and Ascension Alexian Brothers Medical Center.

Greater Family Health and CEDA’s WIC (Women, Infant and Children) program often refer clients/patients to each other for services.
Ecker Center for Behavioral Health is where Greater Family Health refers many Elgin-area adult patients who are in need of outpatient behavioral health services. Conversely, Ecker Center refers their clients to Greater Family Health for primary health care, including adult oral health care, as needed.
Greater Family Health serves alongside the Kane County Health Department to address the health needs of the residents of Kane County through the Health Department’s Advisory Board, Healthy Places Coalition, All Our Kids (AOK) Network, the Kane County Family Case Management Cluster and the Kane County Breastfeeding Coalition, to name a few.
Greater Family Health has had a long-standing relationship with Northwestern Medicine and its Kishwaukee, McHenry and Huntley Hospitals. This includes our provision of deliveries/surgeries at Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital. Northwestern Medicine offers a wide array of specialty and ancillary services to our DeKalb, DuPage, Kane and McHenry county patients. The two organizations regularly refer patients to each other for services the other provides.
NCH was instrumental in the planning and development of our location in Wheeling. NCH offers a wide array of diagnostic and subspecialty services to Wheeling area patients, who also deliver their newborns at NCH. The two organizations regularly refer patients to each other for services the other provides.
Professionals from our McHenry location collaborate with the Youth Service Bureau of Pioneer Center to help provide management and continuity of care for some of the children and adolescents that the Bureau manages. In addition, Greater Family Health and Pioneer Center often refer clients/patients to each other for services.
