[Hoffman Estates] January 15, 2024 – For the second consecutive year, Greater Family Health has been awarded funding by Endeavor Health’s Community Investment Fund (CIF.) The funding allows Greater Family Health to expand its Pediatric Health services in its Health Center located in Franklin Park.
Endeavor Health selected Greater Family Health as one of 43 local organizations from across the Chicagoland area to collaborate on programs focused on behavioral health, violence prevention, housing and food insecurity, access to care and workforce development. Since its launch in 2022, the CIF has touched over 211,000 lives and has enhanced the expansion of behavioral health counseling, bilingual health education and mobile medical services throughout Chicagoland.
The allocated funds will specifically fuel the expansion of Pediatric services at Greater Family Health’s site in Franklin Park. This initiative includes the recruitment of a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Sarah Rajki BSN, RN, MS, CPNP, therefore significantly expanding pediatric appointment availability. In line with the organization’s mission to provide quality, affordable healthcare to all, regardless of their ability to pay, the awarded funding will ensure enhanced access to care for future generations to come.
“We are very honored and thankful to Edward Elmhurst Hospital and Endeavor Health,” said Bob Tanner, President, and CEO of Greater Family Health. “We are very respectful of their decision to share valuable resources with Greater Family Health, and we will ensure they are used to further expand access to pediatric care for those living in and near the community of Franklin Park.”
