Greater Family Health In-Person Counselors and Patient Navigators have exceeded expectations for the number of persons enrolled into expanded Medicaid and the ACA during the 1st quarter.
Additionally, Greater Family Health’s partnerships with a host of local organizations has created access to information about expanded Medicaid coverage and products available on the Illinois Marketplace. Partnerships with local organizations such as Centro de Informacion and YWCA Elgin, events hosted by elected officials (featured picture: Senator Michael Noland and Greater Family Health Counselors/Navigators) and an ongoing presence at a multitude of local libraries and places of worship have proven to be an effective strategy to reach people seeking enrollment information.
