Greater Family Health is pleased to announce that it has received a grant from the DeKalb County Community Foundation (DCCF) to support our Health Center in Sycamore, IL! Funds will be used to deploy mobile workstation carts in exam rooms, which will increase care team productivity and lead to better patient care.
This grant award marks DCCF’s third investment in Greater Family Health. The foundation has previously supported the deployment of advanced pediatric vision screeners and the replacement of vital exam room diagnostic equipment and table tops. Greater Family Health is honored that DCCF has again chosen to invest in Greater Family Health to further our mission of providing quality, affordable health care to all, including those without the ability to pay.
Previously operated by KishHealth, this Health Center transferred to Greater Family Health in December of 2013 when the organization assumed full responsibility for operations, thus converting the health center to the area’s first Federally Qualified Health Center.
