We have much to be proud of these days. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we continue to expand with new locations while maintaining over 178,000 medical, dental and behavioral health appointments each year.
In May, we were proud to have been awarded funding through the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part C Outpatient Early Intervention Services Program. This funding allows for an expansion of our existing HIV/AIDS Case Management Team, Outreach and Testing Services.
We are proud to have four supportive funding organizations/individuals in their support as we continue our journey in assisting LGBTQ+ individuals. Our sign openly announcing that we serve those seeking “LGBTQ+ Health” welcomes all of our patients as they walk into the front door of each of our Health Centers. Our well-trained and well-informed staff members work to ensure the highest regard for a client’s privacy, respect for identity, and respect for pronouns.
We continue to provide the LGBTQ+ community with primary health, dental care, sexually transmitted infection counseling, testing and treatment, rapid HIV testing and HIV prevention opportunities, anal pap smears, hormone replacement therapy, psychiatry, and behavioral services, in a welcoming, inclusive and confidential environment.
As a non-profit FQHC, we continue to work to connect all community members with the necessary medical, dental and behavioral healthcare services they need, as well as to refer them to outside resources when applicable.
