I am a Family Nurse Practitioner at Greater Family Health specializing in HIV, transgender, and LGBTQ care. Prior to graduating from Georgetown University, I completed a clinical rotation in HIV medicine at a local HIV/STD clinic. As a result of that experience, I found my passion for providing health care to the LGBTQ community. After I graduated, I went back to that clinic and began a 4.5-year career there. During that time, I saw a gap in care for transgender individuals and attended numerous conferences on trans care. I then started providing Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for patients in a safe, non-judgmental space. I focus on providing HIV care, sexually transmitted disease care, hormone treatment, PrEP and general medical care for the LGBTQ community. I am grateful to continue providing these essential services in our community.
