My philosophy of care is to empower patients to achieve their best health. I know how important it is to listen to a patient and to integrate their lifestyle, personal and health goals into the plan of care. The patient and I are a team and work together to prevent and treat illness and achieve wellness. I am committed to providing care to my patients that is safe, timely, effective and patient centered.

I earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Illinois at Chicago. My doctorate project was focused on opioid use disorder, specifically reducing the harm experienced by people who inject drugs. I speak Spanish and enjoy working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
